Modern cooktops are often slightly narrower than older cooktops, and often when you go to replace it, you find it doesn’t fit the hole in your bench. In the past the solution was to either fill the gap with something (which looked ugly) or to replace the whole benchtop. But now at last there’s a solution that looks great and isn’t expensive……..
We now stock two different cooktop fitment trim kits which allow you to fit a new cooktop to your old kitchen bench without the ugly gap in the benchtop, by covering it with a sylish, well made stainless steel trim.

ACC051 Cooktop trim kit stainless steel. 515mm X 55mm
This Kit will fit most square 600mm wide or 900MM wide cooktops. Simply slide the trim under the glass top at each end.If the trim is longer than the glass top (eg most 900mm wide cooktops) then cut the trims to match glass width.The manufacturer suggest cutting and deburring the rear ends.
This trim is marketed by Electrolux, the manufacturers of AEG, Chef, Electrolux, Simpson and Westinghouse stoves. It will also fit Fisher and Paykel, Whirlpool, Blanco, Smeg, Omega, Ilve, and pretty much any other brand as well.
